It wasn’t long before she was walking out the front door, his face automatically breaking out into a smile at how beautiful she looked. And he knows that lately she’s been doubting it, but there has never been a time when he thought she wasn’t beautiful. Tonight included. Honestly, there was just something about the baby bump and the fact those were his kids that made her so, so much more beautiful than he thought she did before she was pregnant. He watched her the entire time until she was sitting sitting next him, the smile on his face getting bigger just by the fact she was here. And yeah, that might make him sound like a pansy, but whatever. Sue him. He hasn’t spent all day with her because he’s been getting stuff ready for tonight to make sure it was perfect. He knew it was going to be. Just before she was about to settle against his side, he brought a hand up so she could look at him, leaning down and kissing her. It wasn’t like their usual kisses that lasted for a few minutes, he really threw his all into it just because he wanted to. He bit down lightly on her bottom lip when he was down, brushing the tip of his nose against hers as he pulled away, “Happy Valentine’s Day, baby.”
Soon enough, she was tucked under his arm like she usually is when they drive, his fingers drawing random shapes across the side of her stomach. This is what they did every time they drove, he loved it. It was going to be weird sitting in separate when they get an actual car and he doesn’t have his truck anymore, but it’ll be worth it. So worth it when the twins are born. Everything will be worth it by that time, seriously. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head as he kept driving, ignoring the questioning look she was giving him. He wasn’t going to give away where they were going, that would ruin the surprise. And he wants to surprise her like he’s never done before, this was definitely something neither of them have done yet. At least not that he can remember. He comes out to the lake every once in a while when he just needs a few moments of peace to think and be by himself. Now he wants to share this place with Rachel because of how much it means to him. He pulls onto the gravel road that led to the lake, taking it all the way to the water’s edge before turning his truck around so the bed was facing the lake. He turned the truck off and looked down at Rachel, kissing her again quickly, “Come on.”
Rachel could never grow tired of kissing Noah. Especially when he kissed her like this. Unlike their usual kisses, this was short, but he put every ounce of what he was feeling into it. These were the best kisses. It let her know what he was thinking and feeling all in one and right now, he was telling her how much he loves her and wants her. If him telling her she was beautiful made her feel like she was, his kisses made her feel like that even more. When he bit her lower lip and their noses bump into each other, her heart sped up and she smiled softly at him before settling into his embrace. She loved him so much. She looked down at his hand as he traced words and shapes into the side of her belly. She had grown a lot in the last two weeks and now she was beginning to look pregnant. She looked it before, but now, she had that glow to her. Ava pointed it out to her the other day when they went to the grocery store together. Since then, Rachel noticed a lot of people just staring at her, giving her that knowing smile before walking away. She put her hand over his, smiling at how tiny it was compared to his. This was going to be their life now. Them and their twins. Three weeks from now, she’ll know what sex they are. She was praying, along with Noah, that it would be two girls. Caroline Ava and Arella Delilah.
She looked up at him when they drove out of town and gave him a questioning look. All he did was smirk and keep driving. She had no idea what he had planned. He was gone for most of the day, planning this. She knew it was going to be something big, but she was still curious. She looked around the truck and smiled a bit. They had a lot of memories in this truck. She was happy her dads bought the truck. She felt the check burning a hole in her pocket as they pulled up to the lake. She smiled at the view, seeing the sun begin to set. She kissed him back before letting him help her out of the truck. Having a werewolf for a boyfriend worked in her favor. She laced her fingers with his, squeezing his hand before walking to the edge of the lake, just staring at it’s beauty. Whatever he had up his sleeve, he was already off to a good start.
His dreams changed too, not just hers. He didn’t know what he wanted to do exactly, but he knew he wanted to get out of...
If someone would’ve told...she would be engaged...Noah’s...
