It was like it just clicked for both of them, neither of them were leaving. What they had really was forever, it was like it was in writing and a promise that can’t be broken. And he was okay with all of that because that’s what he wanted. He wanted her every day forever. He doesn’t mind sharing part of his soul with her because it feels so right. At first, she was the one who wormed her way into his heart. But now, she can have as much of it as she wants. He doesn’t care. He’s just so fucking happy to have her forever, and it feels so good to know that he gets her everyday until then. It’s still way too surreal to even think about it, but he does all the time and it still never ceases to make him smile like an idiot at the thought. In this moment, he wanted to feel all of her, his thrusts going deeper and moving a little harder against her hips but the pace never picked up. They came at the same time, just small moans of each other’s names as their lips brushed together from how close they were to one another. He leaned on his forearms, one on each side of her so he wouldn’t crush her. His hips stilled after a moment, nothing coming from the room except the sounds of their breathing. He opened his eyes to look at her, a smile appearing on his face as she kissed him. When they pulled away, he let his head fall a bit, his cheek pressed against hers. Even though he was still trying to catch his breath, he started singing anyways, I remember when I realized the depth of your beauty for the first time.
He was singing her song. She hadn’t heard him sing it since the last night of Hanukkah when he gave it to her as her Christmas gift. She began to hum along, breathing too heavily to actually join in with him. She liked listening to him sing to her though. It didn’t happen often considering that they’ve just been busy with other things like working on his GPA, applying to schools, getting ready for Regionals and now the baby. She placed her hand on her belly, looking down at it for a moment, then up at him, feeling him move to look at her. She smiled, locking eyes with him as he continued to sing to her. The song was absolutely accurate in how they were. Musical Soulmates. Really they were just soulmates, not just musical ones. “You are the one, the only, my musical soulmate,” she sang softly with him on the last line, leaning up to kiss him softly. “I love you,” she whispered, bumping noses with him. “That was your daddy singing, Sea Monkey. Isn’t he amazing?” She looked up at him, smiling before looking down at her belly. “He’s going to sing you to sleep every night.” She couldn’t shake off this feeling of pure happiness if she wanted to. It was perfect. It was them. Looking back up at Noah, she caught his eyes, getting lost into those beautiful hazel eyes. “I want her to have your eyes. They’re my favorite part of you. And your smile.”
“I know you want him to have curls, Rach, I can tell by the look on your face,” He raised an eyebrow at her, “So he can...
mohawk.” She sighed, smirking all the while. Sure, she’d prefer if their son kept his father’s curly hair for longer...
